About Us.

We are a family breeder located in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. We are situated on a gorgeous 93-acre farm nestled on the east side of the city.

With my background in Sciences and Nursing and my partner Darren who is a dentist in Kingston, we both have an insatiable love of dogs and all animals.

We have many years of experience breeding various breeds of doodles. Since 2019, we have devoted breeding to focus on the amazing Australian Labradoodle. It wasn’t until we got our first Australian Labradoodle that we realised this was the ONLY dog we wanted to breed.

Teddybear Labradoodles is a fully accredited breeder with the Worldwide Australian Labradoodle Association (WALA). We are truly honoured to be a part of the development of this outstanding breed!

From day one, the puppies are a part of the family and are brought up in the comfort of our cozy home.

We currently have four beloved breeding dogs that live in our home with us - Fig, Emma, Willa, Benji (& Olive who is retired!). We utilize guardian homes for the remainder of our breeding dogs. We believe that no dog should ever have to live in a kennel. It is important to us that all of our dogs have a special family of their own to live with and enjoy all that life has to offer!

The primary caregivers of our Mommas and Pups are myself, Teddy, as well as the support of my amazing husband, Darren. We also have three lovely kiddos - Ava, Ethan, and Ryan, who are an integral part of puppy socialization. We are supported by the fabulous Veterinary team at Bayridge Animal Hospital in Kingston (our primary vet happens to be a neighbour and friend - so, always close at hand). We also ustiloize the veterinary specialists at Cedarview Animal Hospital in Ottawa, for reproductive and health testing veterinary care.

Our puppies are born in their own puppy nursery, which is adjacent to our living room, in a warm, clean, and dog-friendly environment. Once the pups are around six weeks old we start to socialize them by providing playtime where they are exposed to our other dogs and immersed in our family life.

Our Passion

We are totally dog-obsessed! Dogs have always been a lifelong passion of ours. Growing up in households where dogs were a prominent part of our families certainly set the stage for our intense love of dogs. For us, "a house is not a home without a dog”. Over the years we have had many breeds of dogs as pets, but it wasn’t until we found the Australian Labradoodle that we truly fell head over heels in love!

My breeding experience extends beyond dogs, including Oldenburg horses, American Mini Pigs, and Alpacas amongst others (you may see some pics of those critters floating around!)

I am sometimes criticized for my perfectionistic tendencies. In terms of breeding, I feel this is a tremendous asset!

I always want the best-of-the-best!

Philosophy & Breeding Priorities

To put it simply, we only want to produce pups we would want in our family and home! Hence, we breed for temperament, health, and conformation - in that order.
