Temperament

• Extremely clever, sociable, comical, and joyful. Energetic when free and quiet when handled. Should approach people in a happy, friendly manner. Keen and easy to train.

• Should display an intuition about family members or handlers’ current emotional state or needs. This ability to “know” is what has made the Australian Labradoodle an excellent dog for individuals with special needs. (sourced from ALAA)

 

To put it simply, we would only ever produce a pup we would want in our family and home! Hence, we breed for temperament, health, and conformation - in that order. It is hard to not fall in love with the temperament of an Australian Labradoodle (friendly, adventurous, intelligent, sweet, and trustworthy - this last one - as a family pet living with children, is a MUST for us).

 

It is this remarkable temperament that has exploded the popularity of this breed. All of our breeding dogs must pass a thorough professional temperament testing and assessment.
